Russian troops use MLRS to shell Nikopol district

Russian troops have shelled the Nikopol district, Dnipropetrovsk region, using multiple launch rocket systems.

Valentyn Reznichenko, head of the regional military administration, said this in a post on messaging app Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"In addition to Nikopol itself, two more communities came under attack – Chervonohryhorivka and Myrove. In the Chervonohryhorivka community, a power line was affected - Chervonohryhorivka and two villages were partially blacked out - that's about 6,000 households. Emergency crews of electricians are currently on the spot. In the Myrove community, a social infrastructure facility was damaged," he wrote.

According to preliminary information, no one was injured by the shelling.

"And after midnight, our military shot down another drone in the Nikopol district. In all, two enemy UAVs were 'hunted down' overnight. The situation in other districts of the region is calm at the moment," he added.
