Ukrainian attack aircraft strike Russian ammunition depot in Kherson region

Ukrainian attack aircraft have struck a Russian ammunition depot near the village of Novopetrivka in the Kherson region.

The press service of the Operational Command South said this in a Facebook post, Ukrinform reports.

"A pair of our attack aircraft struck an ammunition depot and concentrations of the enemy outside Novopetrivka in the Kherson region. Three enemy fighter aircraft attempted to prevent an attack by our aircraft by launching two air-to-air missiles. There are no losses among our aircraft," the report said.

According to the command, the two missiles caused the destruction of a boiler house in Bashtanka, where a civilian woman was killed. A fire also broke out in a field outside the town.
