Russian shelling of Chasiv Yar: 26 bodies recovered from rubble

The number of people killed in Russian rocket attack on Chasiv Yar town, Donetsk region, has grown to 26.

According to Ukrinform, the Main Department of Ukraine’s State Emergency Service said in a Facebook post.

"As of 14:30, the rescuers of the Main Directorate found and removed 26 dead people from the rubble, 9 people were rescued from the rubble. We continue to work," the report reads.

As reported, in the evening of July 9, 2022, Russian missiles hit a 5-storey apartment building in Chasiv Yar. As of 13:55, July 11, the bodies of 25 dead persons were recovered from the rubble. Nine people were rescued.
