Russian invaders open fire on Sumy Region’s Shostka District three times over past day

On July 2, 2022, Russian troops opened fire on Sumy Region’s Shostka District from the territory of Russia three times.

The relevant statement was made by Sumy Regional Military Administration Head Dmytro Zhyvytskyi on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“After 08:00 a.m., Russians fired at the Shalyhyne community with mortars. 12 strikes recorded,” Zhyvytskyi wrote.

After 02:00 p.m., Russian invaders launched five mortar projectiles on the Esman community.

At 09:00 p.m., Russian troops again opened fire on the Salyhyne community, having launched 14 mortar projectiles.
