1,027 Ukrainian settlements liberated from Russian invaders

A total of 1,027 Ukrainian settlements have already been liberated from Russian invaders.

The relevant statement was made by Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Kyrylo Tymoshenko on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“A total of 1,027 settlements have been deoccupied so far. Humanitarian centers have opened within 95% of the liberated areas,” Tymoshenko wrote.

In his words, immediate renovation works are underway across all liberated areas.

Today Tymoshenko is paying a working visit to Zhytomyr Region. Here, Russian troops destroyed over 2,600 objects, 87% of which are the housing stock.

“In addition, 72 educational institutions were damaged, and they are now prioritized in terms of reconstruction,” Tymoshenko noted.

Meanwhile, Russian invaders continue to ruin the city of Kharkiv and Kharkiv Region.

“This week local residents in the regional center, such settlements as Andriivka, Balakliia, Barvinkove, Buhaivka, Pechenihy, Zolochiv, Odnorobivka, Kytsivka, Ivashky, Malynivka, Udy, Bezliudivka, Kalynove, and such territorial communities as Bohodukhiv, Derhachi and Tsyrkuny have been hit  with over 40 missile, air, artillery and mortar strikes launched by the Russian military,” Tymoshenko stressed.

In his words, Kharkiv residents continue to bravely defend and rebuild their land in cooperation with municipal workers.

At the same time, the Ukrainian President’s team, Government, Parliament, the Armed Forces of Ukraine and ordinary citizens continue to keep the defense and are as strong and indomitable as ever, Tymoshenko added.
