Three people still trapped under rubble of recreation center in Serhiivka

Three people, including two children, remain trapped under the rubble of a recreation center in Serhiyivka, Bilhorod-Dnistrovsky district, Odesa region, which was destroyed by a Russian missile attack.

“As of 09:40, a nine-story apartment block and a recreation center were completely destroyed in the strike on Serhiyivka village,” Deputy Head of the President’s Office Kyrylo Tymoshenko posted on Telegram.

Sixteen residents of the apartment block were killed and 34 more, including five children, were injured. The rescuers managed to save eight people, including three children and a pregnant woman.

Three people, including a 12-year-old boy, were killed and five more were injured at the recreation center. Three more people, including two children, are still trapped under the rubble.

Rescuers continue to work at the scene.

As reported, on the night of July 1, the Russians launched a missile attack at the village of Serhiyivka in Odesa region.
