Russians kill two civilians in Donetsk region over past day

Over the past day, June 29, Russian troops killed two civilians in Donetsk region.

"On June 29, the Russians killed two civilians in Donetsk region: in Krasnohorivka and Sydorove. Another two people were injured," Pavlo Kyrylenko, Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, posted on Telegram.

Kyrylenko noted that the information regarding one wounded person in Mariupol was clarified but it was currently impossible to establish the exact number of casualties in Mariupol and Volnovakha.

In total, the confirmed number of victims among the civilian population of Donetsk region (excluding Mariupol and Volnovakha) has reached 541 killed and 1,407 injured since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

On February 24, Russian president Vladimir Putin announced the start of a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops shell and destroy key infrastructure facilities, massively fire on residential areas of Ukrainian cities and villages using artillery, MLRS, and ballistic missiles.
