Russians fire on 14 localities of Donetsk region over past day. Casualties reported

Russian troops fired on 14 populated localities of Donetsk region over the past 24 hours.

As the National Police posted on Telegram, Toretsk, Slovyansk, Bakhmut, Chasiv Yar, Avdiivka, Kurakhove, Illinivka, Berestok, Ocheretyne, Heorhiyivka, Shcherbynivka, Ivanivka, Pryshyb, and Zaitseve came under enemy fire.

The Russians opened fire from S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems, Smerch, Grad, Uragan launchers, artillery, and tanks.

Several civilians were killed and wounded.

Twenty-five civilian buildings were destroyed and damaged: 18 residential buildings, including two apartment blocks, an agricultural warehouse, a utility company, a mobile operator's station, etc.

The criminal proceedings were opened under Art. 438 (violation of laws and customs of war) of the Criminal code of Ukraine.

As reported, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces, the Russians focus on improving their tactical situation and identifying vulnerabilities in the defense of Ukrainian troops and plan to use heavy flamethrower systems in Slovyansk direction.
