Russians again shell border areas of Sumy region

Russian forces have again shelled the border areas of the Sumy region from Russian territory.

According to Ukrinform, Ukraine's State Border Guard Service said this on Telegram.

"At midnight, the enemy opened fire on the border area of the Shostka district. Border guards counted more than ten explosions of enemy mines and artillery shells," the statement said.

Russian troops shelled the same area four times yesterday. In one instance, enemy artillery fired 12 shots from the Russian village of Belaya Beryozka. In the other two, they fired from the village of Troyebortnoye, Bryansk region, using 120 mm mortars and artillery. Three dozen shells were also fired from Popovka.
