Ukraine’s Chief Intelligence Directorate in touch with captured Azov Regiment members

Ukraine has information on the conditions of detention and the possibility of releasing Azov Regiment members from captivity as the agents of the Chief Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine stay in touch with them.

"To date, our agents of the Chief Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine stay in touch with the captured soldiers of the Azov Regiment. It is through them that we learn more about the conditions of detention, nutrition and the possibility of their release. We all know that they will all be here in Kyiv, and we are making every effort to do so," Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Denys Monastyrsky said, Ukrinform reports with reference to the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

As reported, the Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine transferred its POW exchange functions to the Chief Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. From now on, the Chief Directorate of Intelligence and the Security Service of Ukraine deal with the exchange procedures.

Russia has been waging a large-scale war against Ukraine since February 24. Besieged defenders of Mariupol defended the city from invaders for 86 days.
