Invaders planning mobilization in temporarily occupied Kherson region

Russian forces intend to conscript the male population of the temporarily occupied Kherson region.

This was reported on Facebook by Operational Command South, Ukrinform reports.

"The occupying authorities and the rucist army are trying to force the locals to cooperate or accept the occupation. According to available data, they intend to mobilize Ukrainians from the occupied territories of Kherson region for war against Ukraine," the statement said.

The Command stresses that this is a gross violation of the Geneva Convention and qualifies as a war crime, noting that the criminal state practiced this since the occupation of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
