British Defense Ministry publishes updated map of hostilities in Ukraine

The British Ministry of Defense has released a new map of hostilities in Ukraine as of Monday, May 23.

The map was posted on Twitter, according to Ukrinform.

The update shows that the situation has not changed much on the line of contact.

Russian forces pursue their offensive operations in eastern Ukraine. At the same time, Ukrainian defenders are carrying out counteroffensive moves near Mykolaiv and Kharkiv.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, on February 24, Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Its forces have been destroying infrastructure, conducting massive shelling of residential areas of Ukrainian cities and towns using artillery, multiple rocket launchers, and ballistic missiles.

The United States, the European Union, and other countries have imposed sanctions against the aggressor power, whose international isolation is growing by the day.
