Eleven people wounded in Russian shelling of Kharkiv region over past day

Over the past 24 hours, on May 21, 11 civilians were wounded in the Russian shelling of Kharkiv region.

"Over the past day, the Russian invaders continued to shell the city of Kharkiv and localities of the region. Five civilians were wounded in the shelling of Kharkiv’s Saltivka district. The occupiers also fired on Lozova district, the village of Shevchenkove, and Chuhuiv districts – three wounded. Three more people were wounded in the town of Derhachi," Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleh Synehubov posted on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

In Kharkiv direction, the enemy, as in previous days, is focused on maintaining the occupied frontiers and preventing further advance of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, he noted.

As reported, according to the General Staff data, the Russian occupiers get ready to resume the offensive in Izyim area and shell the areas of Virnopillia, Dibrivne, and Dovhenke.
