On May 12, 2022, two civilians were killed and four injured in Russia’s shelling of Derhachi, Kharkiv Region.

The relevant statement was made by Kharkiv Regional Military Administration on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“The city of Derhachi came under the most extensive enemy fire. Unfortunately, two civilians were killed and four injured. Russians inflicted damage to a humanitarian aid hub, civil registration office, outpatient department and ambulance station,” the report states.

In addition, according to the regional military administration, three civilians were injured in the Zolochiv community and two more in Balakliia.

Last night was relatively calm in the city of Kharkiv. Meanwhile, Kharkiv Airport was hit with a Russian missile yesterday, but no casualties were reported. Three persons were injured in Russia’s shelling of Saltivka.

A reminder that, on May 12, 2022, Russian troops shelled Kharkiv Region’s Derhachi with the Uragan multiple rocket launcher systems. In the morning of May 13, 2022, a humanitarian aid hub located in a cultural hall was destroyed in Russia’s missile strike.
