One killed as enemy strikes village outside Zaporizhzhia

Russia's military on Wednesday launched 15 missile strikes on the village of Komyshuvakha in the Zaporizhzhia region, killing one person and injuring three more.

Oleksandr Starukh, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, said this on Telegram, Ukrinform.

"Today, May 11, the village of Komyshuvakha in the Zaporizhzhia region came under the ruthless bombardment. Some 15 missiles exploded in residential neighborhoods of the [village]. Dozens of buildings were damaged. One person was killed by the occupiers," the statement said.

Three people are reported to have been injured in the attack.

The regional military administration also released a video showing the consequences of the enemy shelling.

Earlier it was reported that on May 11, at about 05:15, a Russian missile was shot down by air defense systems over the village of Komyshuvakha in the Zaporizhzhia region. In the afternoon, the regional military administration warned that the Russian military was shelling with artillery fire the residential areas in Komyshuvakha and asked people not to leave shelters.
