Russian invaders destroyed about 600 kg of fertilizers in Mykolaiv region

In Mykolaiv region, an agricultural warehouse with 600 kg of fertilizers exploded and caught fire as a result of Russian shelling.

The press service of the Operational Command "South" reported this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

“Continuing artillery and mortar attacks on Mykolaiv region, the enemy hit an agricultural warehouse with fertilizers. About 600 kg of fertilizers exploded, a fire broke out," the report says.

It is noted that the rescue services responded quickly. There is no chemical threat to the environment and people.

According to preliminary information, no casualties have been reported.

As reported, earlier on Sunday, Head of Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration Vitaliy Kim said that a warehouse with saltpeter exploded as a result of Russian attacks. He also published a photo showing a thick red cloud, signing it "Occupiers against the Ukrainian fertilizers".
