Enemy continues to fire at Azovstal using aviation, artillery and tanks - Arestovych

Russian troops are firing at the Azostal plant, where Ukrainian defenders and civilians are located, using aviation, artillery and tanks.

Oleksiy Arestovych, an adviser to the head of the President's Office, said this at a briefing, Ukrinform reports.

“The enemy continues to attack the area of our defenses in Mariupol, the Azovstal plant, using aviation, artillery and other means, including ground means. It uses tanks and tries to advance with assault groups. That is, it violates the order of its own supreme commander-in-chief […]," Arestovych said.

As reported, Russian President Vladimir Putin called off plans to storm the industrial zone of the Azovstal plant in Mariupol and ordered Russian troops to seal off Ukrainian defenders inside the besieged port city of Mariupol.
