Russians fire on Kyiv’s suburbs of Brovary; power and water outages possible

This morning, Russian troops fired on the town of Brovary in Kyiv region, damaging its infrastructure.

"This morning, several infrastructure facilities in our community were hit. Please keep calm. There may be power, water, sewerage supply outages. All services work in an intensified mode," Brovary Mayor Ihor Sapozhko said in his video address posted on Facebook.

According to Sapozhko, "our public utility companies and infrastructure services will do everything possible to restore all critical infrastructure facilities in our community today," the Brovary mayor promised.

On February 24, Russia launched a new phase of the eight-year-long war against Ukraine – a full-scale offensive. The enemy massively shells and bombs Ukrainian cities, towns and villages. The Armed Forces, the Territorial Defense Forces, and the entire Ukrainian people are effectively resisting Russian troops and inflicting heavy losses on them.
