Enemy shelling of district in Kharkiv: Death toll grows to ten

The prosecutor's office has launched an investigation into the deaths of ten people in Kharkiv as a result of enemy shelling.

The Prosecutor General’s Office said this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

Under the procedural guidance of the Kharkiv regional prosecutor's office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into violations of the laws and customs of war combined with premeditated murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

On April 15, at about 16:30, the Russian military fired from the Uragan multiple rocket launchers at Industrialnyi district in Kharkiv. The shelling killed ten civilians, including a 7-month-old baby. Another 35 people were injured. Several residential buildings were damaged and destroyed.

The pre-trial investigation into the criminal proceedings is being carried out by the SBU department in Kharkiv region.

As reported, on April 14, Russian forces fired at evacuation buses in Kharkiv region, killing 7 people and injuring 27.
