With its own provocations, Russia preparing pretext for repeated threats against Ukraine - Yermak

The head of the Ukrainian President's Office, Andriy Yermak, has said that Russia is preparing a pretext for repeated threats against Ukrainians, including missile attacks on Kyiv, but Ukraine is ready for any scenario.

He announced this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"With its own provocations, Russia is preparing a pretext for repeated threats. They have already talked about possible missile strikes on Kyiv. We are ready for any scenario and no Russian scenario will work," Yermak said.

He said the Kremlin has already proved that it can only fight the civilian population.

"In the future, Russia will be held accountable for all crimes before an international tribunal," he said.

Earlier media reports said that the Russian Defense Ministry threatened to attack "Ukraine's military facilities, including those in Kyiv," in response to alleged attempts by Ukrainians to attack facilities on Russian territory.
