Eight people, including child, killed by Russian shelling in Kharkiv region

Eight people, including a child, were killed by Russian shelling in the Kharkiv region on April 11.

Oleh Syniehubov, the head of the regional military administration, said this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"The Armed Forces of Ukraine are firmly holding the defensive positions of Kharkiv and the region. Therefore, the Russian enemy due to its powerlessness continues to 'fight' with the civilian population. Unfortunately, eight people, including a 13-year-old child, were killed as a result of daytime attacks on the city and the region. Nineteen people were wounded, including two children aged 4 and 9," he said.

Earlier reports said that fighting continues in the Kharkiv region, where part of the territory is temporarily occupied, with more than 800 km of state roads either damaged or destroyed.
