Russian forces carry out more than 40 strikes on Chernihiv region border

Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces carried out 41 strikes on the border of the Chernihiv region using FPV drones, resulting in confirmed destruction and damage.

According to Ukrinform, Viacheslav Chaus, head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram.

“The Russians carried out 41 strikes on the Chernihiv region over the past 24 hours. Primarily, these were in the border areas. FPV drones,” Chaus reported.

He noted that in a village in the Semenivka community of the Novhorod-Siverskyi district, a grocery store was destroyed by fire following an explosion.

According to Chaus, a communications facility was hit in the Koriukivka district. In a village in the Koriukivka community, the enemy struck a forestry area. In another village, a house and a tractor were destroyed, and another house caught fire. Residents extinguished the fire.

In the Kulykivka community, a house and a car were damaged by a drone attack.

As reported by Ukrinform, three people were injured in the Chernihiv region as a result of Russian strikes.
