Vereshchuk calls Russia's statements on ‘ceasefire’ a manipulation

Deputy Prime Minister - Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories Iryna Vereshchuk has called Russia’s statement declaring a ceasefire on March 31 a manipulation.

According to Ukrinform, Suspilne reported this on Telegram.

It is noted that the Russian Defense Ministry announced that from 10:00 on March 31, a ceasefire regime would be arranged and an additional humanitarian corridor would be established for the evacuation of civilians and foreign nationals from Mariupol to Zaporizhzhia.

In turn, Vereshchuk called it "another manipulation" and stressed that only the reports of the Ukrainian side with a list of routes of humanitarian corridors are valid.

As Ukrinform reported, on March 30, 1,530 people arrive Zaporizhzhia through three agreed humanitarian corridors.

On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the beginning of a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops have been shelling and destroying key infrastructure facilities, conducting massive shelling of residential areas of Ukrainian cities and villages using artillery, multiple rocket launchers and ballistic missiles.

Martial law was imposed in Ukraine and general mobilization was announced.
