General Staff confirms destruction of military plant and arsenal of missiles and ammunition in Russia

Units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck an arsenal storing missiles, ammunition, and explosives belonging to the Main Missile and Artillery Directorate of the Ministry of Defense and a plant producing high-tech equipment for aviation and missile systems in Russia.

According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook.

"As part of systematic measures to reduce the offensive potential of the Russian aggressor, units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck an arsenal for the comprehensive storage of missiles, ammunition, and explosives belonging to the Main Missile and Artillery Directorate of the Ministry of Defense and a factory producing high-tech equipment for aviation and missile systems in Russia on the night of February 12 in the area of Kotluban (Volgograd region, Russian Federation). The General Staff noted that this arsenal is one of the largest ammunition storage sites of the Russian army.

“The strike on the arsenal was carried out using Ukrainian FP-5 Flamingo long-range weapons,” the General Staff said.

Powerful explosions were recorded on the facility's premises, followed by secondary detonations.

The extent of the damage is being clarified.

In addition, the Michurinsk Progress Plant, a high-tech equipment manufacturing enterprise for aviation and missile systems in Michurinsk (Tambov Region, Russian Federation), was hit. The enterprise supplies the Russian army.

According to preliminary reports, a fire broke out on the plant's premises. The results and extent of the damage are being clarified.

Also, in the temporarily occupied part of the Zaporizhzhia region, near the village of Terpinnia and in the Rozivka area, enemy ammunition depots were hit.

In addition, it has been confirmed that, as a result of the strike on February 11 at the Volgograd oil refinery in the Volgograd region of the Russian Federation, the central primary oil processing unit ELOU-AVT-1 was damaged, as were elements of AVT-3 and infrastructure facilities on the site. At other facilities, particularly secondary processing facilities, the capacity has been reduced or halted.

The enemy's losses and the extent of the damage caused are being clarified.

As reported by Ukrinform, on the night of February 12, combat drones attacked the Russian defense plant Progress in the Tambov region of the Russian Federation.
