In Chernihiv, Russian forces distributing leaflets urging locals not to resist invasion

In Chernihiv, the invaders are circulating leaflets urging citizens not to hinder or obstruct the advance of the Russian forces.

That’s according to Oleksiy Biloshitskyi, First Deputy Head of the Patrol Police unit, Ukrinform reports.

"Chernihiv. Today. Fascist Russians are distributing leaflets, trying to curb resistance put up by Ukrainians. The Nazis distributed the same leaflets in 1942. All by the same playbook. What's next? Concentration camps? Gas chambers?” wrote Biloshitskyi.

He posted photos of the said leaflets. In particular, they claim it’s the Ukrainians who allegedly "started it" and also "can stop it."

The leaflets contain appeals "not to hinder or obstruct the advance of Russian forces – so that everything ends sooner."

These papers also claim that Russian soldiers are allegedly not at war with the civilian population. "Ukrainians will stick these papers onto the bottles of Molotov cocktails to burn you all," the police chief wrote.

As Ukrinform reported earlier on February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the launch of a large-scale invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops have been shelling and destroying civilian infrastructure and residential areas, massivelu using artillery, ballistic missiles, and bombs.
