Russia strikes underground missile and ammunition depot in Ivano-Frankivsk Region

Russian troops have hit an underground missile and aircraft ammunition depot in the village of Deliatyn, Ivano-Frankivsk Region.

The relevant statement was made by Air Force Command Spokesman Yurii Ihnat on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Indeed, the enemy launched an attack on our warehouse facilities, which had been mentioned. The missile type is yet to be determined. We have suffered damages, destructions. There was a detonation of ammunition. Casualties are yet to be reported,” Ihnat told.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine have not yet named the type of missile that hit the warehouse facilities.

On March 19, 2022, Russian occupiers announced that they had hit the underground missile and aviation ammunition depot in Deliatyn, Ivano-Frankivsk Region, with the Kinzhal hypersonic missiles.

A closed city consisting of a residential area and several military facilities was founded by the Ukrainian Defense Ministry in Deliatyn, Ivano-Frankivsk Region, in 1950.
