Substation and high-voltage power line damaged in the capital due to Russian attack
As a result of a massive Russian attack, the capital’s power infrastructure has been damaged.
According to Ukrinform, the DTEK Group reported this on Telegram.
“In the capital, a DTEK transformer substation and a high-voltage line were damaged as a result of a missile and drone strike. A production site, special equipment, and 29 cars were also damaged,” the statement said.
It is noted that power engineers are already working to address the consequences of the attack.
As previously reported, due to the ongoing Russian attack, which began on May 13, users in Kyiv and 11 regions are without power.
