Ukraine calls for international assistance in creating humanitarian corridors

Ukraine expects active assistance from international organizations, including the OSCE, in creating humanitarian corridors.

Mykhailo Podoliak, an adviser to the head of the President's Office, wrote about this on Twitter, Ukrinform reports.

"Villages and towns, where columns of Russian troops are stationed, immediately become places of looting, robbery, murder. We need humanitarian corridors - food, medicines, safe passage for ambulances, evacuation of children. We expect active assistance from international organizations, including the OSCE. Enough words! ”Podoliak said.

As reported, on February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin declared war on Ukraine and launched a large-scale invasion. Russian troops have been shelling and destroying key infrastructure. Missiles hit residential buildings.

Martial law was imposed in Ukraine and general mobilization was announced.

Ukraine officially filed a lawsuit against the Russian Federation with the UN International Court of Justice in The Hague.
