EU, NATO must understand that if Ukraine falls, Russian troops will come to them - Zelensky

The EU and NATO must understand that if Ukraine falls, Russian troops will come to their borders.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said this in an interview with CNN and Reuters, Ukrinform reports.

"It is very important to know that if Ukraine falls, then all these troops will be on the borders of your NATO member states. They will be on the border of Lithuania, Poland, etc. And so you will have the same question and there will be a big second test, because there will also be provocations. There were already examples from Belarusian territory, when there was a migration crisis, there was pressure. And where was NATO then?" Zelensky said

As Ukrinform reported, Russian President Vladimir Putin declared war on Ukraine on February 24 and launched a large-scale invasion of the country. For the sixth day, Russian troops are shelling and destroying key infrastructure, with missiles hitting residential buildings.

Martial law was imposed in Ukraine and general mobilization was announced.
