Russia's missile strike on Freedom Square destroys Slovenia consulate in Kharkiv

The Slovenia consulate was destroyed as a result of Russian missile strike on Freedom Square in Kharkiv.

"The Slovenian Consulate in Kharkiv was destroyed as a ‘collateral diplomatic damage’ as well," Head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine Matti Maasikas posted on Twitter.

As reported, on March 1, Russian troops launched an air strike on the central square of Kharkiv, killing 10 people.

Russian president Vladimir Putin declared war on Ukraine on February 24 and launched a large-scale invasion. Russian troops have been shelling and destroying key infrastructure facilities. Missiles hit residential buildings.

Martial law was imposed in Ukraine and general mobilization was announced.

Ukraine officially filed a lawsuit against the Russian Federation at the UN International Court of Justice in The Hague.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine, with the support of all Ukrainian people, courageously resist the Russian aggression.
