Russians hit Kyiv TV tower, channels won't work for some time

After Russian invaders hit the Kyiv TV tower, the TV channels will be out of operation for some time. In the near future, the backup broadcasting of some channels will be switched on.

"ATTENTION! The broadcaster’s equipment room on the TV tower was struck. For some time, the channels won't work. In the near future, backup broadcasting of some channels will be switched on," the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine posted on Telegram.

Russian president Vladimir Putin declared war on Ukraine on February 24 and launched a large-scale invasion. Russian troops have been shelling and destroying key infrastructure facilities. Missiles hit residential buildings.

Martial law was imposed in Ukraine and general mobilization was announced.

Ukraine officially filed a lawsuit against the Russian Federation at the UN International Court of Justice in The Hague.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine, with the support of all Ukrainian people, courageously resist the Russian aggression.
