In Odesa region, Russian invaders hit gas pipeline, damage households, kill civilian

In the village of Dachne in Odesa region, a gas pipeline and a number of households were damaged in an enemy shelling. A civilian was killed and two – injured.

This was stated on Facebook by the press center of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, Ukrinform reports.

"On March 1, at about 12:00, in the village of Dachne, Odesa district, a shelling occurred, as a result of which a gas pipeline, about nine private households were damaged, and a garage caught fire, killing 1 and injuring 2," the statement said.

Rescue teams were redeployed to a safer location due to an ongoing shelling.

As Ukrinform reported, Russia went to war with Ukraine on February 24 at the behest of aggressor President Vladimir Putin. For the sixth day in a row, Russian troops have been shelling and destroying key infrastructure, targeting apartment buildings. Martial law was imposed in Ukraine and general mobilization was announced.
