Four civilians have been killed in missile strikes launched by Russia’s military in Kyiv Region.

The relevant statement was made by the General Prosecutor’s Office of Ukraine on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

Under the procedural guidance of the prosecution authorities in Kyiv Region, a pre-trial investigation into missile strikes launched on settlements by Russia’s military is underway. The actions of the aggressor state were qualified as the violation of laws and customs of war (Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

On February 28, 2022, Russian missile strikes hit a five-story dormitory in Vasylkiv and a three-storey dormitory in Bila Tserkva. Three residential houses were destroyed in shelling in Kalynivka, Fastiv District. The maternity hospital was also damaged in shelling in Kyiv Region.

As a result, five civilians were wounded, four civilians were killed.
