Ukrainian National News Agency “Ukrinform” presents the video guide “Welcome to Ukraine” for foreigners, who will arrive in Kyiv this spring to visit the Ice Hockey World Championship 2017 and Eurovision Song Contest 2017. How to get from the Boryspil Airport, what can be purchased for one dollar, how the Kyiv metro works, what one should try in Ukrainian cuisine, what to do when no one speaks English around you.

Journalist Serhiy Velichansky acts out a foreigner, who has come to Kyiv for the first time, sharing basic life hacks. The soundtracks of the Monochromea Kyiv rock band help to feel the drive of the Ukrainian capital.

As a reminder, Kyiv hosts the Ice Hockey World Championship 2017 on April 22-28. Semifinals of the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 will be held on May 9 and May 11, the finals – on May 13.
