Dissolution of Parliament: Constitutional Court to continue case hearing on June 18

The Grand Chamber of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine will continue the hearing of the case on the constitutionality of President Zelensky’s decree on dissolution of the Verkhovna Rada on June 18.

The corresponding information was published on the Constitutional Court’s website.

"Continuation of hearing of the case on constitutional motion of 62 members of the Parliament of Ukraine over the constitutionality of the presidential decree on early termination of powers of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and the appointment of snap elections," reads the agenda for June 18.

The hearing will be held at the closed part of the plenary session.

As reported, the Grand Chamber of the Constitutional Court started to consider the submission of lawmakers over the constitutionality of the presidential decree on the dissolution of the Verkhovna Rada on June 10.

According to the President's decree, the snap parliamentary elections are scheduled for July 21 this year.
