The next year should demonstrate the real activity of the newly created cultural institutions: the Ukrainian Book Institute and the Ukrainian Cultural Fund.

Ukrainian Vice Prime Minister Pavlo Rozenko announced this at the all-Ukrainian meeting of cultural workers, the Governmental portal reports.

“The next year should demonstrate the real activity of these two institutions. These are new approaches, new programs, new challenges for all of us, but these are also new opportunities and new ways of gaining support for Ukrainian book publishing, culture and the humanitarian field as a whole,” Rozenko said.

He recalled that the two institutions had been established earlier this year.
