Lawyer Mark Feygin, who defends the unlawfully arrested Ukrinform correspondent Roman Sushchenko in the Russian Federation, reveals that the main theory of the prosecution is that his client allegedly collected information about the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

"The investigation into the case against Ukrainian journalist Roman Sushchenko is over. We have got acquainted with 2 volumes out of 10. According to the version of the Russia’s Security Service, Roman collected information about the Russian troops’ invasion of Ukraine," Feygin wrote on Twitter.

Earlier on Friday, the Moscow City Court rejected the complaint against the extension of Sushchenko’s arrest.
