Two civilians killed, 12 injured in Donetsk region over past day

Russian forces killed two civilians and injured 12 others in Donetsk region on August 26.

Pavlo Kyrylenko, the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, said in a Facebook post, Ukrinform reports.

"On August 26, Russians killed two civilians in Donetsk region – in Bakhmut. Twelve people were injured,” he wrote.

Overall, a total of 766 civilians have been killed and 1,971 injured in Donetsk region since the full-scale invasion started.

The regional governor noted that it is currently impossible to determine the exact number of casualties in Mariupol and Volnovakha.
