Houses destroyed, agricultural lands burnt down in Russia’s shelling of Donetsk Region

In Donetsk Region, Russian troops opened fire most actively in Bakhmut District and Kramatorsk District last night. As a result, residential houses were left destroyed and agricultural lands burnt down.

The relevant statement was made by Donetsk Regional Military Administration Head Pavlo Kyrylenko on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Russians deliberately ruin infrastructure and burn agricultural lands down,” Kyrylenko wrote.

In his words, four houses were damaged in Russia’s shelling of Siversk. One house was struck directly. Information about casualties is yet to be checked.

In the Soledar community, the following settlements came under enemy fire: Soledar, Yakovkivka, Bakhmutske, Minkivka and Vasiukivka. No casualties had been reported so far.

In the Svitlodarsk community, it was also restless last night. Such settlements as Odradivka, Bakhmutka, Zhovanka, Kodema, Mykolaivka, Pisky and Maiorsk were under enemy fire. Reportedly, there were no casualties.

In Kramatorsk District, Russian projectiles struck two educational institutions: Sloviansk Chemical and Mechanical College and a secondary school in Mykolaivka. Five residential houses were also damaged in Russia’s shelling of Mykolaivka.

In the Kostiantynivka community, the enemy shelling caused a fire outside a village.

A reminder that, on August 25, 2022, two civilians were killed and six injured in Russia’s shelling of Donetsk Region.
