Khyzhniak wins Olympic middleweight boxing silver

Brazil’s Hebert Sousa won the Olympic middleweight boxing gold on Saturday with a knockout of Ukrainian Oleksandr Khyzhniak.
Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Khyzhniak (weight category up to 75 kg) lost the final fight at the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics and won a silver medal, Ukrinform reports.
Khyzhniak had the edge in the fight but Sousa unleashed a fierce left that sent his opponent to the floor in the third round.
So far, Ukraine has won 16 medals at the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics:1 gold, 5 silver, and 10 bronze medals.
