Health Ministry allows Ukrainian Premier League to resume football matches from May 30

The executive committee of the Ukrainian Association of Football (UAF) has received a letter from the Ukrainian Health Ministry with the permission to resume Ukrainian Premier League matches from May 30, UAF President Andriy Pavelko has reported on Facebook.

"I ask members of the executive committee of the Ukrainian Association of Football to support the decision to resume the championship and the Ukrainian Cup from May 30 and to approve the competition calendar," Pavelko wrote.

Ukrainian Premier League matches were suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic after the 23rd round. In the 24th round, current leaders Shakhtar Donetsk will take on Dynamo Kyiv. The match is due to take place in Kyiv.
