Ukraine's national football team will begin preparations for Euro 2020 as soon as the Ukrainian Premier League is over.

According to Ukraine's sports news site Sport Arena, Andriy Shevchenko's side is expected to gather for training camp in Kharkiv on May 17-18.

This will happen if the Executive Committee of the Ukrainian Association of Football approves amendments to the spring match calendar of the Ukrainian Premier League.

On May 26, Ukraine plans to hold a friendly match with Cyprus.

Earlier it was reported that Ukrainian players will hold away friendly matches against France (March 27) and Poland (March 31).

Just before Euro 2020, the Ukrainian national football team plans to hold two more matches – on June 2 and June 7.

Euro 2020 matches will be held from June 12 to July 12. Ukraine was placed into Group C together with the Netherlands, Austria and a UEFA Nations League play-off-winner D (Georgia, Belarus, North Macedonia or Kosovo). Ukraine will play the first match against the Netherlands in Amsterdam on June 14.
