Dynamo Kyiv pulls out of UEFA Europa League

Ukraine's Dynamo Kyiv has lost 0-5 to England's Chelsea in the second leg of their last-16 Europa League tie and pulled out of Europe's second most prestigious football tournament.

The match took place at the Olympic National Sports Complex in Kyiv on Thursday, Ukrinform reports.

The Ukrainian club sustained a worst ever European home defeat.

The first leg at Stamford Bridge in London ended in a 3-0 win for Chelsea.

The English side has not yet lost in this season's Europa League - nine wins and a draw.

The draw for the quarterfinals of the Europa League will be made in Nyon, Switzerland, on March 15.
