Ukrainian Romanchuk wins gold in men's 1500 freestyle in China

Ukrainian swimmer Mykhailo Romanchuk has won a gold medal at the 14th FINA World Swimming Championships (25 m) in Hangzhou, China.
Romanchuk claimed gold in the men's 1500m freestyle setting the Championship Record - 14 minutes and 09.14 seconds, Ukrinform reports.
Italian Gregorio Paltrinieri (14:09.87) took silver and Henrik Christiansen of Norway received bronze (14:19.39).
