Usyk-Joshua fight may take place in April - Fury's promoter

Ukrinform
Tyson Fury's promoter Frank Warren has said that the fight between undisputed cruiserweight king Oleksandr Usyk and world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua could take place on April 13, according to Boxing Scene.

"I am now hearing Joshua's next opponent for April 13 is not going to be Dillian Whyte and will be Oleksandr Usyk, let them get on with it. I know why they want to fight Usyk, he is a smaller guy and not much of a puncher," Warren said.

Usyk in his latest bout knocked out Tony Bellew and retained the title of undisputed world cruiserweight champion.

It is unclear whether the Ukrainian will remain in the cruiserweight division or will move to heavyweight. It is also unclear who will be his next opponent.

Joshua successfully defended his titles in his last fight by knocking out Russian Alexander Povetkin.
