Elina Svitolina moves into WTA Finals championship match

Elina Svitolina has defeated Kiki Bertens in the WTA Finals semifinals and gained the right to play in the decisive match of the world’s best female tennis players.
Svitolina (world No.7) beat Bertens (world No.9) 7-5, 6-7(5), 6-4. The match lasted over 2 hours and 37 minutes on a court in Singapore, Ukrinform reports.
The Ukrainian tennis player will take on either Sloane Stephens (world No.6) or Karolina Pliskova (world No.8), who will play later on Saturday.
The WTA Finals championship match with a prize fund of $7 million will take place on Sunday, October 28.
