Ukrainian athlete Yuliya Yelistratova has won gold medal at the Triathlon World Cup in Salinas, Ecuador.
"We congratulate Yuliya Yelistratova on a brilliant victory at the Triathlon World Cup in Salinas (Ecuador)," the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine posted on Facebook.
Ukrainian athlete covered the distance in 58 minutes 19 seconds.
Yelistratova seized gold for the first time since World Cup 2015 and for the first time since birth of a child.
Luisa Baptista from Brazil (00:58:22) finished second, and the third place went to Barbara Riveros of Chile (00:58:37).
