Ukraine has defeated the Czech Republic 1-0 in the home match of the UEFA Nations League and secured first place in Group B1.
Ruslan Malinovsky (43) scored the winning goal at the Metalist Stadium in Kharkiv on October 16, Ukrinform reports.
Ukraine collected nine points after three games, followed by the Czech Republic (three points after three games) and Slovakia (zero points after two games).
Thus, Ukraine secured the right to play in the elite League A of the UEFA tournament.
In the remaining Group B1 matches, Slovakia will take on Ukraine on November 16, and the Czech Republic will play Slovakia on November 19.
