WTA ranking: Svitolina retains seventh spot

Ukraine’s No.1 tennis player Elina Svitolina has retained the seventh spot in the ranking of the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) updated on August 27.
WTA ranking is headed by Simona Halep from Romania (8,061), Caroline Wozniacki from Denmark (5,975), Sloane Stephens from the United States (5,482), Angelique Kerber (5,305), Petra Kvitová from the Czech Republic (4,885), Caroline Garcia from France (4,725), Ukrinform reports.
Elina Svitolina ranks seventh with 4,555 points.
Lesya Tsurenko from Kyiv (1,365) has moved down one position over the past week and now ranks 36th. Kateryna Bondarenko (761) is the 87th, Kateryna Kozlova (757) - the 88th.
In WTA ranking, Dayana Yastremska has managed to move up 6 positons, now she is the 98th. Marta Kostiuk (472) took the 131st position, and Angelina Kalinina (454) is the 134th.
