Svitolina seventh in WTA ranking

Ukraine’s No.1 tennis player Elina Svitolina has retained the seventh spot in the ranking of the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) updated on August 20.
WTA ranking is headed by Simona Halep from Romania (8,061), Caroline Wozniacki from Denmark (5,975), Sloane Stephens from the United States (5,482), Angelique Kerber (5,305), Petra Kvitová from the Czech Republic (4,840), Caroline Garcia from France (4,725), Ukrinform reports.
Elina Svitolina ranks seventh with 4,555 points, Ukrinform reports.
Lesya Tsurenko from Kyiv (1,365) has moved up nine positions over the past week and now ranks 35th. Kateryna Bondarenko (777) is the 86th, Kateryna Kozlova (757) - the 88th.
In WTA ranking, Dayana Yastremska (609) is on the 104th position. Marta Kostiuk (472) took the 133rd position, and Angelina Kalinina (454) is the 136th.
